Offered At The Doghouse LLC

We offer a variety of training programs to fit your needs

 

Private Lesson
Dog Training

*(once weekly for 5 weeks) 

Private Lessons Training Program

Private lessons consist of you and your dog coming once per week to the kennel for 5 weeks. The sessions are approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. We teach on leash heel, sit, down, stay, come and a place command. We can also work on any issues you may be having at home.

 

 

Full Service
Dog Training

*(Your dog lives with us for 3 weeks) 

Full Service Training Program

Our full service obedience training is a 3 week in kennel training program. We will train your dog for you, and once the training is complete we then have lessons with you teaching you the commands and how to reinforce the training once your dog is back home. Price includes boarding, training, and go home lessons. We teach on leash heel, sit, down, stay, come and a place command.

 

 

In-Home
Dog Training

*(One session is 1hr 20min long) 

In-Home Training Program

I will come to you in your home and environment to work with you and your dog. The In home training is customized to your goals with the training and any issues you may be having now. This program is great if you are having behavioral issues around the house such as barking, chewing, digging, counter surfing.

When dealing with any aggressive behavior it is best to start with an evaluation. I will come to your home or the environment the behavior is happening to meet with you and the dog. After a thorough evaluation and behavior analysis we can determine the best way to rehabilitate the dog and the best training program that will fit you and your dogs needs.

Your dog has to have completed either my full service training or 5 week private lessons. Group lessons are offered a few times a month and are posted on the website.

 

 

 

 

 

Dog Boarding

Dog Boarding For Previous Clients

I offer boarding to clients that have been through one of my training programs. This is a great way for me to refresh any training that might be needed, and also for your dog to be in a structured environment that they are familiar with. Make sure to reserve your spots around the holidays well in advance.

 

 

AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluation

Your dog has to have completed either my full service training or 5 week private lessons.
The cost of the test is $20.

Sport Dog Training

 

Application Process

This program has an application process. To reserve a spot in our full service program, you will need to send a copy of the dogs vaccination records, a letter describing your pet, and the issues you are having (also include what your goals are with the training). A deposit is required prior to training start. If you have certain dates in mind (if you are trying to plan training around a vacation, etc) please include those dates and we will try to accommodate your plans.

Which Training Program is Best For Me?

When deciding between programs, what it comes down to is how much time do you have to put towards the training? With the private lessons, it is your job to practice at home so that each week we can progress to the next level.
If you know your schedule is inconsistent, then you are better off going with the full service training. That way you are assured you will have a fully trained dog, it is then just up to you to reinforce the commands at home. Let me know if you have any questions or are ready to book training.

I would like to especially thank Carrie. My expectations when I brought my Australian Cattle Dog for full time training were fairly high. I needed my Zeb to be able to mingle calmly around people, dogs, and other distractions in a busy FBO without the usual jumping and running around like a mad man.
